As a life-long fitness enthusiast, I have enjoyed high school sports, weight training, body building, and the thrill of pushing myself to be the best I can be. That desire carries over to the way I train my clients, enabling them to reach and exceed their goals. I love my job because I get to see people's dreams come true.
After owning and operating my own gym for several years I realized I enjoy working with individuals and QCI Fitness is truly, "one-on-one personal training perfected." Sports training, general conditioning, and nutritional counseling are my specialties. For over 15 years, I have trained clients ranging from college and professional athletes, to those with mobility issues to people who just need to get in shape and lose a few pounds. I'm here to help you learn how to develop the skills you need to make a positive lifestyle change.

Since early childhood I have been active in athletics and staying in shape. I started playing sports at an early age. I then went on to ply football and wrestle in high school at Grandville and still compete in wrestling matches. I decided to turn my passion for fitness and training into a career three years ago while living in Texas. I have experience in training all different types of clients that vary in age, size, and skill level. I know through my own journey of getting into shape that hard work does really pay off. I use my past experiences to help my clients hit their goals as well. My greatest strengths as a personal trainer include corrective exercise, strength gaining, weight loss, MMA training, boxing and Ju-Jitsu.

When I was five years old I started playing soccer and have been involved in sports ever since. I carried this passion for sports into my college career at Michigan State University where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a specialization in health promotion. During my time at MSU I played intramural soccer and went on to play for the Division I women's rugby team. I also was involved with research in the Kinesiology department. I finished my college career with an internship in the strength and conditioning department where I worked under the head coach training athletes in sports such as women's basketball, women's tennis, baseball, and gymnastics just to name a few.
Since graduating from MSU, I became a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). I loved the idea of becoming a personal trainer because it integrates strength and conditioning, physical therapy, and health promotion among other things all in one career. I enjoy working with people to achieve their goals and watch them transform not only physically, but most importantly mentally.
Pursuing my career in the health and fitness field, I earned my degree in Exercise Science at Grand Valley State University. Now an ACE certified personal trainer, I empower others every day to live fit and inspired. When working with clients I focus on goals: improving performance, weight loss, or gaining mobility, flexibility, and strength. I have worked with individuals of all ages and different needs, from physically therapy clinics to athletic weight rooms, and I have the ability to make your goals achievable.
I am an energetic an passionate coach and personal trainer. I have been a hardworking, successful baseball player for over18 years. I have earned multiple honors throughout my baseball career. I played collegiately, for Grand Valley State University, and later went on to play professionally. I want to bring all this experience to help you meet your own goals no matter what they are at what stage of the process you are!

I have lived surrounded and captivated within the fitness world my entire life. I have been a dedicated, successful swimmer for over 17 years. I'm an All-American, hold records and state titles in Michigan and throughout the Midwest. I swam collegiately at the University of Toledo where I was captain, and lead my team in becoming first time MAC Champions in Toledo history.
My passion and dedication to the sport didn't stop there. I graduated with a degree in Rehabilitation through Sports at UT. I went on to get my National Personal Training Certification through NPTI, as well as my Advanced Certification in Personal Training (A-CPT). I take pleasure in training all levels of fitness. With my clients, I focus on goal setting and achieving successful results, from my beginner to elite clients.
